Australian Cricket Board has announced its squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 on 13 Jan. Here is the full detail about Australia’s squad.
Australian Cricket Board (ACB) has announced their 15-man squad for the upcoming champions trophy which starts on 19th Feb. Pat Cummins will lead the side and this is good news for the Australians as Cummins was suffering from a knee injury. He is rested for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka which will start later in the end of this month.
Group stage matches
Australia’s group-stage matches will be against South Africa, Afghanistan, and England in Rawalpindi and Lahore. If they qualify for the playoffs and for the finals if the opponent is India they have to go to Dubai for their matches.

Bowling:
Australia’s pace bowling attack will be led by Pat Cummins, Mitchel Starc, and Josh Hazlewood. They have been performing for the Australian team for at least a decade. Nathan Ellis is also included in the squad for any replacement in the playing 11
Batting:
Australia’s batting order will be led by Steve Smith, Trevis Head, Glenn Maxwell, and Mathew Short. There is a problem of opening the innings after Warner’s retirement but Matthew Short is doing a great job after Warner’s retirement and after all the Alax carry will join the party as he is the first choice of keeping for the Australian team.
